Do you deliver?

Yes, we have a nationwide delivery service that ships once a week on a Thursday. Details of delivery costs and days can be found on our Shipping Page or visit our online shop. Please place your order by midnight on a Sunday for delivery that week.


Meat sweats when it is wrapped up. Take it out of the paper wrapping, pop it on a wire rack or plate in the fridge and lightly cover it with the paper.

How should I store THE Meat when i get it home?


Unfortunately not - our till system won’t allow us to put any out of date vouchers through. Please don’t phone to ask us, you wouldn’t ask Tesco’s to extend a voucher so please don’t try it just because we are a small business.

Are you a restaurant?

No - we are a butchery and bottle shop.


Yes, you can bring your own, however if you don't have one, you can buy one of ours.

Can I bring my own Growler?


Are dogs allowed in the shop?

Sadly not...we love dogs, but health & hygiene do not!
We have a water bowl outside for your dog to refresh and if there isn’t a queue, one of us is always happy to hold your dog while you have a browse inside.

Who took your fantastic photos?

The photos on our site are a mixture of our own and our friends Amos Menin & Kevin Chevis. Amos's photos include the picture on our About page of Katie & Steven in front of the shop, as well as the images as you hover over Meat, Beer & Life options. Amos also took the main photo on the Visit page. Kevin's photos are featured in the recipe section, along with a few of our own.
