Return Policy

Webshop Returns - Unfortunately due the the perishable nature of the goods we sell, we are not able to accept returned goods or claims for goods ordered in error.
If you experience an issue with your order please email weborders@blocknbottle.com upon receipt of delivery referencing your order number.

Returns of Beer and Wine purchased in store (188 Heaton Road, Newcastle NE6 5HP) will be accepted to the shop within 14 days of purchase providing they are returned in their original packaging and condition. A full refund for the returned item will be provided minus any discounts. Block & Bottle cannot be held responsible for any damages once the item is in possession of the customer.

Items damaged in transit?
If your order arrives and the contents, or part of the contents have been damaged in transit, let us know which items have been damaged and we will replace the damaged items or offer a refund. Please email a photo of the damaged items and the packaging as you received it and your order number to weborders@blocknbottle.com

Incorrect items?
If we have sent you an incorrect item, please email weborders@blocknbottle.com and let us know your order number and  which item is incorrect. We will either send you the correct item as soon as possible or alternatively we will refund the item. We will not charge you for the incorrect item.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Block & Bottle is the trading name of Block And Bottle Ltd, a limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 10117163. Our shop is located at 188 Heaton Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE6 5HP, and we can be contacted by emailing hello@blocknbottle.com or calling 0191 265 7955.

Block & Bottle operates www.blocknbottle.com and www.blocknbottle.co.uk (“the website”), and www.blocknbottle.com/shop (“online shop”). By using our website and online shop you indicate that you have accepted our terms of service and agree to abide by them. Block & Bottle reserves the right to make changes to the website or this disclaimer at any time. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Age Restrictions
It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to persons under 18 years of age in the UK. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and you may be required to show valid photographic ID when you collect or receive your order. If you are unable to show an acceptable form of ID on collection you will not be permitted to receive the order. Please note - If alcohol has been purchased, the person who placed the order must also be the person to receive the order.

Purchases
Purchases made via the online shop that only contain gift cards are delivered via Royal Mail 1st Class post, these orders are packed and posted as soon as possible and you will be notified by email when they have been dispatched.
All other purchases made via the online shop are posted once a week via DHL next day delivery on a Wednesday to arrive to you on a Thursday. Cut off for these orders is midnight on Sunday to be shipped that week. You will be notified by email when they have been dispatched.
It is your responsibility to check you have given us the correct address for delivery orders, we cannot be held responsible if the delivery address is incorrect.

Collections/Pick Up from Block & Bottle - orders are to be collected from the shop located at 188 Heaton Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE6 5HP. In order to collect any purchases please bring the order number and payment card used to make the purchase. Purchases will be held for 14 days after the order is received. If the product is not collected after 14 days, the value of the product will be refunded to the purchase card and the product will be made available for resale.

Title of Goods
Title of all goods is retained by Block and Bottle Ltd until payment has been received in full.
If a product is only available on a limited number per customer basis, this is the total number available to each customer in store and online. If a customer is found to have made multiple purchases to exceed this limit, the value of the item(s) purchased will be refunded and the product made available for resale.

Privacy Policy

Block and Bottle Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office and is committed to upholding the Data Protection Act 1998 with regard to the personal information we store.

By registering on our website or placing and order you are consenting to Block and Bottle Ltd using your personal data for fulfilling any orders you place, or sending you marketing material (if you have given us permission). Block and Bottle Ltd will record, maintain and update any personal information that is collected as a result of your registration or any orders your place. Website data is held and processed on the Squarespace. We will never share or disclose your information unless legally required to do so.

We use cookies on this website to personalise your experience and to enable you to use our online shop, if you haven’t accepted cookies within your browser you may be unable to complete your purchase.

If you want to hear about all the latest happenings at Block & Bottle and sign up to our mailing list, we will hold and use your details to send you our newsletter to keep you informed of things happening at Block & Bottle. We will hold this information until you withdraw consent. Personal data of subscribers will be transferred to and processed by Mailchimp.

We use CCTV recording devices at Block & Bottle (188 Heaton Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE6 5HP). This is for the sole purpose of crime and prevention and will only be share or disclosed if we are legally required to do so.
