THE TEAM

Steven (Meat)
Working for over 12 years as a Butcher in the meat industry, honing his talents at some of the most distinguished butchers across the UK. Steven was most recently found developing a range of products and events at West London’s Hook and Cleaver where he discovered a passion for the world of charcuterie. He soaked up knowledge from mentors to become a master of his craft.

Katie (Beer)
Five years of co-ordinating major events has given Katie an expert knowledge of catering for lavish parties with the highest quality produce from suppliers. She has worked closely with top British chefs including Angela Hartnett to deliver first-class experiences for all lucky enough to attend her events. Katie has travelled extensively around the UK, Europe and America, seeking out the very best craft breweries and has even turned her hand to brewing her own unique beers.

The go to place for Free Range meat and craft beer in the North East.

At Block & Bottle we have curated a shop brimming with exciting, locally sourced, free range, grass fed meats; tantalising hand-crafted charcuterie and mouth-watering craft beers for your delectation. Focusing on the fantastic North East and UK breweries, with a few additions from the rest of the world.

Block & Bottle offer all that you’d expect of a traditional high street butchery or beer bottle shop, with the welcome addition of draught beer for you to take home in growler bottles (reusable glass jugs for the ultimate take out craft beer experience). You can also find a unique and delicious range of charcuterie including, salami, chorizo, coppa ham, pancetta, guanciale, jerky, pepperettes and much, much more.
