CHRISTMAS and Easter ORDER T’s & C’s
It is your responsibility to check these Order terms and Conditions from time to time to ensure you are aware of any changes which may have been made. Block and Bottle reserves the right to update and change these terms and conditions at any time.
By placing a Christmas or Easter Order at Block & Bottle, you (the customer) understand and agree to the following terms & conditions:
PRICES: Please note the total price is an estimate and prices of all products may vary due to supply chain cost fluctuations. By placing an order, we are confirming that we will have your order but please be aware this is not a guarantee of price.
Sizes of some products do vary and we portion products by hand, we will endeavour to cut as close to your preferred weight as possible but this may not be exact. For products sold by the kg, you will be charged on the final weight.
All final sale prices will be based on the weight on the day of collection at the time of sale (on your order confirmation it gives you a balance of the order - please note this is an estimate and the actual amount will be based on final weights and sale prices of products on the day of collection). Please be aware if you order 6 week + aged beef, your till receipt will display this as two separate charges - one for the weight of the beef at our standard price, plus the supplement for it being more aged.COLLECTIONS AND COLLECTION DATE: Please bring your order confirmation when collecting your order. You will be given a collection day for your order - you will not be able to be collect your order before this date.
Please note that we may need to amend your collection date in certain circumstances - for example if there is a delay from our suppliers - if this is the case we will let you know as soon as we are aware that your collection date may change.DEPOSITS: A non-refundable £20 deposit will be taken for whole birds (geese, whole turkeys, French Poultry, cockerels & roosters). You must bring the receipt for the deposit with you when you collect your order to ensure the deposit amount is taken off the final bill.
ORDER AMENDMENTS & CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations and amendments to orders can be made up to Saturday 23 March 2024 for Easter 2024 orders, and up to Saturday 7th December 2024 for Christmas orders. After these dates we are unable to make any changes to any orders. We are unable to refund any deposits for cancelled orders.
ACTS OF GOD, THE GOVERNMENT, BIRD FLU & OTHER ANIMAL DISEASES: In the unlikely event the government tell all food retail shops to close due to Covid19 or any other reason, or any supply chain issues, we will inform you as soon as possible. In the event of an outbreak of Avian influenza (bird flu), other animal disease or supply chain shortages, there may be changes to the products available to us. We will do everything in our power to supply your order but please be aware that there may be circumstances in which we have to provide a frozen product, a product with a different weight range or another alternative where possible.
